In this post I’m sharing my recipe for the best vegan brownies. The secret ingredients include bananas and avocado!
First, ensure that you have all of the necessary ingredients. Some of the ingredients can be substituted based on personal preference (e.g., almond milk for a different plant-based milk or whole wheat flour for another type of flour). I also used frozen ripe banana and avocado chunks and defrosted them prior to using in this recipe.
Next, follow the directions as listed. This recipe for the best vegan brownies is very straightforward, requires little time and makes very few dishes to clean up afterwards. I used just one bowl for all of the ingredients!
Once they have cooled in the pan for a couple of minutes, I run a knife along the edges (if you aren’t using a cupcake/muffin liner), remove from the pan and let them cool completely on a wire rack.
This recipe for the best vegan brownies is rich in flavour and not overly sweet. The bananas and avocado also provide numerous health benefits (a hit of potassium) and natural sweetness.
